Describe a time when you shared something with others.
You should say:
- What you shared
- Who you shared it with
- Why you shared it
- And explain how you felt about sharing it
Well, what I would like to talk about is a box of chocolates which my parents gave me on my last birthday. I was over the moon when I opened the gift because I’m a chocoholic.
I decided to share it with my best friends when they came over to my home for dinner because I know they are all hooked on chocolate as well, and this particular box was from San Francisco. It’s called Dandelion Chocolate which is a household name. So you know, they were all interested to see what American chocolate tasted like.
I have to say that they were mad about them because they polished the whole lot off as soon as I gave them many squares. The aroma of this box of chocolate was intense and it had fruity qualities. This box of chocolate was out-of-this-world, so my friends and I pigged out on many squares of Dandelion Chocolate. We all smiled radiantly while eating.
I was absolutely delighted with that, you know, it was good to see them tucking into them. But, you know, it gave me a lot more pleasure seeing my friends enjoying something I gave. This was just one time I realised how fulfilling and satisfying it was to sharing something with my friends. I think sharing is an essential social skill to build healthy and strong relationships with friends.
